The main bit of functionality the Atek’s Sizester application has to offer is image resizing – the application can take one image and resize it, and it can also take multiple images and resize them individually or as a group. The additional functionality Sizester has to offer includes printing, uploading, or sending images by email.

The Sizester installation file is only 2.5MB in size, which means that getting it off the web and onto your computer will not take long, not even on a slow internet connection. Run the 2.5MB file and you will be presented with a simple setup wizard. Click through it and moments later you’ll have the Sizester application up and running.

The main pane of Sizester’s interface presents the image you select for resizing. To the left, you have the resizing options the application has to offer. The buttons at the bottom let you undo changes, email the image, upload it, and more. The simple and user friendly layout ensures you won’t have any problems getting accustomed to the application’s interface.

Using Sizester is a very simple three step process. The first step you must take is to load an image into the application. You can do this from the File menu in the upper left hand corner or by clicking the Open button down at the bottom of the application’s interface. The next step is to choose what you want Sizester to do. The resizing functionality Sizester has to offer includes the following: reduce the physical size of the image, crop the image, and reduce the quality of the image. And the third and final step is to simply save the resized image or, if you want to, print it out, upload it, or email it.

Sizester is free to use for 15 days. This should be enough time for you to evaluate the functionality this application has to offer and decide if you want to purchase a license.

With Sizester, you can resize images and then upload or email them. You can do this easily and quickly.

Pros

The Sizester installation process takes little time to complete. The Sizester interface is user friendly. You can resize an individual image or batch resize images. With Sizester, you can reduce the physical size of the image, crop the image, and reduce the quality of the image. The application can save, print, upload, and email images.

Cons

Free to use for a 15-day trial period; nag screen.
